Hajj
We are running the Olive Tree Library’s HAJJ COMPETITION for the first time this year! Through this competition we will celebrate the wonderful creativity of children’s writing and art so why not get writing (or typing) and drawing. You might even have your story published, along with the other winners, in a book!
The Rules:
- There are two categories to enter the competition:
- Category 1: Open to original stories or poems written on the theme of ‘HAJJ’ by children aged 7 – 12 years. Entries can be up to 1500 words
- Category 2: Submit a 2D artwork on the theme of ‘HAJJ’ by children 4 – 7 years. Entries must be on an A4 or A3 size piece of paper.
- All entries must be submitted by an adult capable of giving permission on behalf of the child – parent/guardian or the child’s teacher who has obtained the parent or guardian’s permission.
- The story must be entirely the work of the child
- Entries must be submitted before 7th July 2022
