About

The Olive Tree Library offers high quality Islamic books to help our young children (up to age 12) to feel proud of their Religion, Identity & History.

It’s easy for children and young people to join the library. There’s no minimum age and you don’t have to live in the borough.

Children’s Islamic Library

Both of our branches offer a good selection of Islamic children’s books.

We offer a wide range of services to children including:

  • Storytelling sessions
  • Author visits
  • Workshops
  • Nationwide reading challenges
  • Crafternoons
  • Singing circles
  • and more

The library has set opening times and can also be booked for out for special sessions.

Please speak to library staff or email us for more information.

Reference Only

At present, the library does not allow children to borrow books. The membership of £5 a year per family includes access to our books and resources for a whole year. It is hoped that with the growth of the library team, we will be able to allow children to borrow books.
